Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. Lennox made it through on the stipend of a student working part-time in order to help supplement her income. Lennox as she was studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy in her performance when in comparison to her peers. Then she began to consider different options. Lennox played flute with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band shortly before their appearance on I.T.V's Talent show New Faces. The singer was the primary vocalist of The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and the year 1980. There she made friends with Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Then, Lennox began to work on her solo first album Diva and it was released in 1992. Both commercially as well as critically it was a huge hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album came out on October 31, 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is composed of Lennox's most loved soul, jazz and blues songs of her youth. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano that Lennox made available in May 2019. This E.P. The album is a companion to her album Now I Let the door open... art installation which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. This is also her first independent album. She and Dave Stewart then gained international fame in the 1980s when they formed Eurythmics. Lennox began her own solo career when she released her first album Diva in 1992. This was the source of several hit songs, including"Why" and "Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa an album from her studio, that was released in 1995 features the versions of a few of her best-loved songs, including No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). Her solo catalog includes six studio albums, as well as one compilation album to her credit.
